Dominican Transportation is now hiring professional non cdl box truck drivers to join our team and grow together with us.

Who are we?

So we are a small company with base in the metroplex of Dallas TX which was created from a OTR Owner operator who's been there at the steering wheel to know the importance of how to treat and understand all the needs of a professional driver.

Our trucks are equipped with sleeper, independent A/C \ heater for the sleeper powered with a generator, has a fridge, microwave, grill (optional), etc.

What driver must know before applying

Driver must have clean background record.
Driver must have clean driving record and if driver has violation on driver license, must have less than one violation on record and it will be subject to a evaluation.
Driver must have at least 1 year experience driving box trucks and operating a lift gate/pallet jack.
Driver must be able to drive manual transmission, all our trucks are manual transmission, we do not have any automatic transmission, (this applies to company drivers)
Driver must be able to do pre-trip inspection on the truck.
Driver must have valid medical card.
Driver must be in Physical condition to operate a liftgate and a pallet jack.
Driver must have experience strapping.
Driver must have proof of experience such as previous employer contact , Job type, equipment type, route, etc.
Driver must live within 2 hours from Dallas TX

Regional box truck driver position

Driver will be operating all Texas and surrounding states, driver will be able to go home every few days depending on delivery locations, driver will also have to operate ELD and follow all DOT requirements.
Job pay starts at 25% of the gross what the truck makes, truck can average between $2,000 to $3,500 a week.
The load to move is general freight dock to dock and sometimes using a liftgate.

OTR box truck driver position

Driver will be operating all 48 states for a minimum of 3 weeks out and after 3 weeks driver can request time off / home time, TIME OFF IS 1 day per week worked OR driver can drive 4 weeks out and them can have 7 days off , driver will be operating under ELD and all DOT requirements.
Job pay starts at 25% of the gross what the truck makes, truck averages between $3,500 to $6,000 a week for a solo driver plus bonuses.
The load is general freight dock to dock and sometimes liftgate with pallet jack.
If the driver has mechanic skills, will earn extra percentage or bonus for repair done.

Owner Operator program

Our owner operator program is for a person or business that owns a NON CDL GVWR of 26,000 pounds 26FT box truck with sleeper and should have all Dominican Transportation requirements on board to be able to operate under our authority.

This position requires that the truck operates all 48 states under our dispatch operation team and requires at least 2 weeks of work every month.
Owner operator will earn 80% of the gross of what the truck makes.
Owner operator must fallow all the DOT rules and regulations and all Dominican Transportation Rules.
Owner operator must sign a 1 year lease agreement with Dominican Transportation due insurance and other purposes.
Dominican Transportation also provides assistance to owner operator if needed.

Dominican Transportation will not hire someone without the equipment that we are required to have on the truck , the truck must have (sleeper), we will not hire a Box truck without sleeper, if you need help getting any equipment on the truck , we can help, ask about getting help installing equipment on the truck.

Lease Operator Program

If you have experience driving OTR, this program will be a good opportunity to own your truck .

To qualify for a Lease program, driver must have a full 1 year experience verifiable with documents on hand driving a truck OTR .
Driver must have clean background and no more than 1 driving violation in the past 3 years.
Driver must work with the company for a minimum of 36 consecutive months to be able to finish the lease.
Driver must follow all the DOT rules and regulation including Dominican Transportation rules such as Driver rules and Owner operator rules disclosed up on the website .
No credit check needed to be able to qualify .

The lease Operator vehicle will be a USED sleeper non-cdl box truck with all equipment needed to start working under our team.

Lease operator program payments :

$5,000 down + $ 1400 a month for 36 months lease term + paperwork fees
this is only for the truck , driver are subject to cover other expenses such as insurance/ maintenance/ etc.
Own your truck in as little as 36 months !

Dominican Transportation reserved the right to refuse a leased program to a individual that we believe doesn't meet our qualifications ( hopefully you understand)

Back home tow if needed for owner operator

We provide free ride home in case our owner operator have mayor issues with the truck, as a owner operator founder we understand what it is like having mayor issues with the truck in a unknown state so we offer free ride home with our in-house private tow truck, we also have a mechanic adviser available by phone in case any quick issues arrive over the road.
